Software Engineer (New Grad – 3 YOE) | High-Performance Crypto Trading Infra

Location: Fully Remote US

Type: Full-time

Comp: Competitive base + token/equity incentives

The Opportunity

A premier decentralized derivatives and trading infrastructure protocol backed by top-tier VCs is looking for high-caliber engineers (new graduates up to 2–3 years of experience) to work on core low-latency systems.

Day-to-Day

  • Design and implement critical components of a modular Zero-Knowledge (ZK) settlement layer.
  • Optimize execution pipelines: drive down order latency, scale throughput, and harden system reliability across the core exchange engine.
  • Architect and scale real-time market data infrastructure (central limit order books, streaming tickers, data warehouses).
  • Ship advanced feature sets tailored for institutional market makers and retail traders.
  • Brainstorm, prototype, and build entirely new crypto-native trading and settlement mechanisms from the ground up.

Technical Requirements

  • Proven Capability: You’ve tackled a genuinely difficult technical problem, built an impressive personal project, or shipped serious code.
  • Systems Programming: Strong foundation in systems-level languages (Rust, C++, or C) alongside solid Linux and OS fundamentals.
  • Experience Level: Recent CS/STEM graduate with exceptional practical experience, or an engineer with 1–3 years of production background.
  • Bonus Points: Prior hands-on experience in crypto/DeFi protocols, low-latency financial systems, or high-throughput distributed networks.

Values & Mindset

  • Genuine Curiosity: High agency, deep enthusiasm for low-level engineering, and passion for the space.
  • Ownership: The initiative to pitch, defend, and champion your own architectural ideas.
  • Clear Communication: Active listening skills and the ability to articulate complex technical trade-offs concisely in a distributed team.
