Trading Systems Engineer – Up to $300k + Tokens – New York / Hybrid

The company has a strong track record of funding, a lean and ambitious team, and is redefining blockchain trading infrastructure by bridging decentralized and traditional markets with high-performance, low-latency systems.
Role Overview
As a Trading Systems Engineer, you will apply your options trading and market-making expertise to design and implement robust trading and risk models on-chain. You’ll develop high-performance trading logic and liquidity mechanisms, build core systems in Rust, and contribute to the growth of a critical product ahead of market launch. This is a high-impact role where your work directly shapes the next generation of decentralized trading infrastructure.
Core Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize on-chain trading and market-making systems

Develop pricing and risk models for options and other financial instruments

Build and maintain high-performance Rust-based trading systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, smart contracts, front-end, and design

Contribute to system architecture and ensure reliability and scalability of trading infrastructure
Requirements

Strong backend engineering experience in Rust (or other low-latency languages)

Hands-on experience with market-making or trading systems, particularly options

Based in New York (hybrid working model)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Crypto experience is a plus, but not required
Nice to Haves

Experience designing or operating live trading infrastructure
