Plexus are partnered with an OG infrastructure project who specialises in staking and trading within Crypto. They are seeking someone well versed in Solana validator systems and performance optimisation.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a Solana Systems Engineer with deep expertise in systems administration and networking, alongside a strong drive for decentralised technologies. High-precision execution is critical in this role, where sub-millisecond optimisation makes an impact. You will join an ambitious infrastructure team focused on expanding and refining our footprint across the evolving Solana ecosystem.

• Solid foundation in Linux environments and production systems engineering (hands-on experience running Solana validator nodes is highly advantageous)

• Full professional proficiency in English (working proficiency in German is an asset)

• Track record of designing, evaluating, and scaling robust system architectures

• Academic background in Computer Science, Distributed Systems, or demonstrable equivalent industry experience

• Availability for occasional international travel for internal team summits and industry events

What you would do

• Manage and run validator nodes to maintain high availability, security, and low-latency performance across our Solana setup

• Oversee continuous operations, routine maintenance, and scheduled network upgrades

• Lead proactive system monitoring, profiling, and infrastructure performance tuning

• Identify and implement novel methods to accelerate latency and scale network architecture

• Drive infrastructure-as-code and configuration automation using tools like Terraform and Ansible

• Partner closely with trading desks to optimize underlying infrastructure execution

• Engage directly with key external technical partners and ecosystem stakeholders

• Participate in a shared on-call escalation rotation

• Expand your technical domain knowledge and contribute to cross-functional initiatives
