Plexus is partnered with one of the most established venture firms and liquidity providers in the Solana ecosystem. Early seed investors in Solana, they’ve become one of the network’s core backers—running Firedancer validators, top-performing RPC services, and supporting over 15 Solana-based portfolio projects. Beyond capital deployment, they’re builders, validators, and ecosystem catalysts—soon launching a Solana-focused accelerator and hub in Dubai alongside the Foundation and Superteam.

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Solana Analyst / Principal to strengthen their edge and ensure they stay ahead of every development within the Solana ecosystem. This is a high-autonomy, research-driven role for someone deeply immersed in Solana—an ecosystem native who lives on-chain, understands its commercial and technical evolution, and has a sharp eye for founders and projects defining its future.

You’ll serve as the firm’s resident Solana expert, building theses, sourcing deals, supporting founders, and driving thought leadership within the ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Deal Sourcing & Ecosystem Mapping

• Proactively source early-stage and liquid investment opportunities across the Solana ecosystem.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, builders, investors, and Solana ecosystem players.

• Continuously map and track key developments and growth verticals across Solana.

• Represent the firm at ecosystem events and conferences.

Research & Analysis

• Conduct deep technical and commercial research into Solana protocols, infrastructure, and emerging narratives.

• Prepare detailed investment memos, scenario analyses, and ecosystem reports.

• Act as the internal go-to source (“Solana Guru”) for updates, insights, and market trends.

• Contribute to content and thought leadership positioning the firm as a top-tier Solana investor.

Portfolio & Network Engagement

• Support Solana-based portfolio companies through strategy, research, and introductions.

• Work with the firm’s growth and infrastructure teams to connect liquidity and engineering resources.

• Identify follow-on opportunities and manage exposure across the Solana portfolio.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in crypto, with a focus on or deep exposure to Solana.

• Track record of successful investments or direct involvement in the Solana ecosystem.

• Strong understanding of Solana’s technical architecture, validator landscape, and developer tooling.

• Proven network across founders, builders, and investors in the Solana ecosystem.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Self-starter mentality with high autonomy, curiosity, and conviction-driven thinking.
