Smart Contract Engineer

Plexus are working with a leading blockchain engineering firm is building decentralized financial infrastructure to enable open, peer-to-peer markets for real-world risk factors. As a core contributor to the Autonity Project—an EVM-compatible blockchain for decentralized derivatives clearing—the company is shaping the next generation of DeFi systems, with a strong focus on open-source collaboration and advanced cryptographic technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Solidity smart contracts on Autonity to support decentralized risk markets

• Work on protocols related to derivatives, DEX trading, algorithmic stabilization, oracles, and liquid staking

• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to transform prototypes into production-grade code

• Contribute to core L1 protocol enhancements and integration with the Autonity Go Client

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years in Solidity development

• Strong understanding of Ethereum protocols and proof-of-stake consensus

• Proficiency in Python and web3.py

• Experience with oracles, IPFS, and third-party audits

• Background in Computer Science or related technical field

• Open-source contributions in Web3
