Senior (zk)EVM Engineer

Plexus have partnered with an innovative R+D infrastructure company focusing on zk tech. They are seeking a skilled (zk)EVM engineer to join their elite team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a next-generation zkEVM based on cutting-edge zkVM technology.
• Rapidly prototype solutions to validate design choices and decisions.
• Develop specifications and contribute to open-source implementations of the zkEVM.

Qualifications:

• Deep technical understanding of zero-knowledge proof cryptography, including areas such as polynomial commitment schemes, IOPs, and constraint systems.
• Expertise in Virtual Machine (VM) execution, including experience with EVM or other industrial-strength VMs like WASM or eBPF.
• Practical knowledge of Ethereum consensus mechanisms, data availability protocols, light clients, and smart contracts.
• Proficiency in at least one system-level programming language such as C, C++, or Rust.
