Plexus has partnered with a leading DeFi trading team building the next generation of trading infrastructure powered by Hyperliquid. The team has already processed $50B+ in trading volume and generated 8-figure revenue in the past year, with a mission to make global financial markets more open and accessible through decentralized technologies.

They’re a small, high-performing group that values autonomy, ownership, and speed—ideal for engineers who thrive in fast-moving, 0?1 environments.

Requirements:

• Strong backend engineer who is happy working in Typescript
• Go/Rust is a bonus
• Strong experience working with trading (HFT, systems, exchanges, DEX’s, platforms etc)
• Strong experience with smart contracts, someone who can at least manoeuvre confidently around smart contracts

Day-to-day:

• Design and develop intuitive trading interfaces and dashboards end-to-end.
• Build and maintain scalable DeFi trading backends, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Work with TypeScript and Python (Rust/Go a plus) on reliable, cloud-deployed systems (AWS/GCP).

We are proactively looking for talent who are able to overlap with EST, ideally minimum 5 hours a day

3-stage interview process with a small paid work trial (where you will ship a small project together end-to-end) – work trial will be flexible upon availability, the plan is to see how everyone works together.

Salary: Base + Tokens + Equity
