Senior Security Engineer

Plexus are working with a consumer AI tech firm based in America, supporting users with Agentic AI that can gather, assess and deliver AI-sourced information and resources with the support of their onchain token.

They are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to take ownership of security across a fast-scaling AI platform, helping build and maintain secure, resilient systems from the ground up. This is a hands-on, defensive security role with broad ownership across both corporate IT and production environments. You’ll begin by strengthening internal security foundations before expanding into cloud and infrastructure security for customer-facing systems as the platform scales.

Who You Are

• A dynamic, adaptable Security Engineer comfortable operating across both technical and security-focused environments.
• Strong communicator, able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, particularly during incidents, outages and high-priority security events.
• Skilled at identifying risks, troubleshooting complex systems and understanding how changes impact interconnected environments.
• Proactive and ownership-driven, anticipating issues before they become incidents and following through on remediation.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in Security Engineering
• Strong cloud security background (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Experience in startup and/or high-growth environments
• Hands-on experience with IAM, incident response and vulnerability management
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• Experience in AI or crypto/Web3 environments is a plus
