Senior Rust Engineer (HFT)

Senior Rust Engineer – Research & Trading Firm (HFT) Remote Competitive Salary + Bonus  

Plexus have partnered with a high-performance research and trading that firm is looking for a Senior Rust Engineer to design and build ultra-low-latency trading infrastructure.

You’ll be part of a world-class team of developers, researchers, and traders, helping to shape the foundations of a tier-1 trading platform.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building and optimizing high-performance trading systems in Rust and Python (end to end)

• Developing components for data ingestion, order management, and execution

• Working on concurrency, profiling, and microsecond-level latency optimization

• Collaborating across research and engineering teams to deploy new strategies

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience with Rust (and Python) in production environments

• Proven background in low-latency systems or high-performance trading

• Solid understanding of concurrent and lock-free programming

• (Bonus) Experience with Python extension modules in Rust (pyo3)
