Senior QA Engineer

Senior QA / SDET Engineer — $90k–$120k — Fully Remote (Europe / UAE)

Plexus is working with a team that is building a large-scale decentralized exchange platform at the forefront of Web3 trading infrastructure. 

We’re looking for a Senior QA / SDET Engineer to become the first dedicated QA hire on our DEX platform and build the QA system from the ground up. 

Responsibilities

• Own QA for the DEX platform as the sole QA engineer initially.

• Design and build the core QA strategy, framework, tooling, and processes from scratch.

• Identify and automate the most critical 20–30% of QA paths required ahead of the public testnet launch.

• Build robust automated testing across the product, APIs, web interfaces, integrations, and critical trading flows.

• Use AI throughout the QA lifecycle – including test strategy, test generation, execution, analysis, debugging, tooling, and workflow automation.

• Help shape the future QA function as the team grows toward 2–3 QA engineers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant QA/SDET/automation engineering experience, with strong senior-level technical ability.

• Demonstrated experience building or significantly improving automated QA systems.

• Strong programming and automation skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or another programming language.

• Hands-on experience setting up and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid trading-domain knowledge is essential – you should understand trading flows, order execution, exchange mechanics, and the types of failures that can occur in trading systems.
