Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer

Plexus are working with a consumer AI tech firm based in America, supporting users with Agentic AI that can gather, assess and deliver AI-sourced information.

We’re looking for a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to help design, build, and operate high-performance data center and cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working across physical networking, cloud platforms, DevOps, and infrastructure security in a highly available, security-focused environment.

What you’ll do

• Manage networking including routing, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing, and peering.
• Design, build, and maintain network infrastructure across on-premises data centres and cloud environments.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support Kubernetes-based production environments and Linux infrastructure.
• Improve platform reliability, observability, monitoring, and incident response.
• Partner with software engineering and security teams to deliver scalable, secure infrastructure.
• Contribute to data center deployments and travel as needed during onboarding and infrastructure buildouts.

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years of experience in similar roles that could include Network Engineering, Network Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
• Strong background in network administration and/or network security
• Experience managing both physical data center infrastructure and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or CircleCI
• Strong Linux systems administration skills
• Experience operating production Kubernetes environments
