Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Plexus is partnering with a venture-backed company that’s building a next-generation iGaming platform. Since launching in 2025, the business has already processed billions in betting volume and is now looking to add a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to its high-performing engineering team.

We’re seeking an experienced Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

Key requirements:

• 5+ years of experience managing production infrastructure, backed by a solid software engineering foundation
• Extensive experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipeline development
• Proven experience designing, building, and operating microservices-based systems
• Experience with event-driven architectures; Kafka experience is highly desirable
• Deep understanding of observability, monitoring, and reliability best practices
• Strong incident response, troubleshooting, and production support experience
• Coding proficiency is preferred (NodeJS and Rust is their tech stack) 
• Advanced Linux administration and scripting skills
• Security-first mindset, including least-privilege IAM, secrets management, dependency scanning, secure pipelines, and production patching

To be considered, candidates must be based within US, Canadian, or South American time zones, with a preference for those located in US Central or Eastern time zones.

Base salary: $180,000-$220,000 USD
