Senior Engineer @ Ethereum based Foundation (GO)

Plexus have teamed up with one of the most exciting Foundations in the space. With a significant portion of Ethereum transactions (70–80%) currently reliant on a centralized infrastructure, there’s a growing need to decentralize and strengthen the resilience of the block-building process. Until now, much of this infrastructure has been maintained by a leading research organization in the space. That responsibility is now being transitioned to this foundation, which will take over key repositories and drive the next phase of development for the Ethereum ecosystem.

This is an opportunity to join an early team tackling a mission-critical problem for Ethereum’s decentralization, performance, and neutrality.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Go (Golang)
• Ethereum ecosystem knowledge –
• Interest or experience in MEV
• Knowledge of economics/game theory
• Geographically based in Europe – with the ability to travel to Berlin regularly

• Bonus: Geth, Reth, or other Ethereum clients
• Active contributor to open-source Ethereum tooling or infrastructure

Must be willing to travel to Berlin frequently during the first 1–3 months for onboarding

Ongoing in-person collaboration expected at least once a quarter The role is remote based, but there is the expectancy to travel every now and then.

Salary is Base + Token
