Senior Backend Engineer

Plexus is working with a well-funded startup developing cutting-edge tools for Web3 builders. 

Role Overview: We’re hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to design scalable, performant backend systems and collaborate on new features using the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and maintain reliable backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch features.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code with strong test coverage.
• Partner with DevOps to optimize infrastructure and monitoring.
• Design secure APIs and integrations for robust data flows.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of backend development (TypeScript, Node.js, distributed systems).
• Strong PostgreSQL skills, including query optimization.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, dependency injection (Inversify), and task scheduling.
• Experience with API design, authentication, and system security.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with Remix, startups, or Web3/blockchain technology.
