Senior Backend Engineer

Our client is seeking a Backend Engineer to join their team developing a cutting-edge decentralized finance (DeFi) derivatives protocol on Ethereum. You would be instrumental in building and maintaining the backend systems that power their platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Integrate blockchain functionality, particularly Ethereum smart contracts, into backend services.
• Optimize performance and reliability of backend infrastructure.
• Collaborate with frontend developers for seamless integration.
• Write automated tests and ensure code quality through reviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js), Python, Go, or Elixir for backend development.
• Solid understanding of blockchain technology, especially Ethereum.
• Experience with smart contract development is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
