Senior AI Engineer (Europe Based)

Plexus has partnered with an emerging stealth prediction markets company, fresh off a $4M raise, that’s putting production-grade AI at the core of how its markets run. Their systems combine modern AI embeddings, model training, and pre/post-training, with real-time data and hard production constraints to drive fast, reliable decisions where speed and correctness both matter.

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will design, build, and scale the AI systems at the heart of the platform. Owning the full model lifecycle from embeddings and data through pre-training and post-training, and building the robust AI infrastructure that keeps these systems reliable, performant, and correct in a live, real-money environment. You’ll join early and help shape the AI foundation the company is built on.

Requirements:

• Proven track record building and shipping production-grade AI systems, not just prototypes or demos
• Hands-on depth across embeddings, model training, pre-training, and post-training
• Able to design and ship robust AI infrastructure, not only lightweight agent or application-layer workflows
• Experience applying AI in technically demanding, real-world environments, with a firm grasp of production trade-offs
• Strong engineering fundamentals and the judgment to keep systems reliable and performant at scale
• Quant finance, trading, prediction markets, or financial-markets exposure (strong plus, not essential)
