Senior AI Builder – Remote – $100k-$200k

Plexus is partnering with a fast-moving, remote-first AI-led product company to hire a Senior AI Builder.

The company is going through a transformation phase, moving heavily towards AI-assisted coding, AI agents, low-code tooling, and faster product delivery. They have several products close to launch, including AI-led recruitment, interview, and consultancy platforms.

This is not a traditional engineering role. They need someone who can build, ship, experiment, make decisions, and use AI as a core part of their daily workflow.

Role Overview

You will own the end-to-end delivery of web features, AI workflows, and internal automation tools, working closely with product owners and engineers to turn ideas into shipped products.

Core Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack web features independently

• Design and deploy AI agent workflows

• Use AI coding tools daily to increase delivery speed

• Evaluate and integrate low-code / no-code platforms

• Work with product owners to clarify requirements and make decisions

• Prototype new tools quickly

• Own deployment, testing, monitoring, and production fixes

• Document decisions and share learnings with the team

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on technical experience

• Strong experience using AI coding tools daily

• Experience building and shipping products independently

• Strong product mindset

• Comfortable working with ambiguity

• Strong remote communication skills

• Evidence of building, such as GitHub, portfolio, demos, side projects, or shipped products

Skills & Ideal Profile

• Strong experience with Node.js, React, REST APIs, AWS or similar cloud platforms, and deployment pipelines
• Hands-on experience with AI agents, LLM tools, and AI-assisted development workflows
• Comfortable using tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Replit, Lovable, v0, Bolt, Devin, or similar
• Useful experience with Python, Next.js, prompt engineering, CI/CD, Git, databases, low-code / no-code platforms, vector databases, RAG, or multi-agent frameworks
• Genuinely AI-native, not just using ChatGPT occasionally
• Aggressive about delivery and not afraid of mistakes
• Able to build independently without hand-holding
• Strong decision maker who can document clearly
• Comfortable experimenting, moving quickly, and working through ambiguity
