Sales Lead (Staking) | Remote | Europe & APAC | Permanent

Plexus are partnered with a top 5 TVL project who are looking for a Sales Lead to come and run their staking product. You will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and managing strategic clients—including exchanges, custodians, asset managers, funds, and large token holders. This is a quota-carrying role with significant autonomy, requiring both strategic thinking and tactical execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Revenue Growth
  • Lead the end-to-end sales motion—from prospecting through close—with emphasis on institutional staking prospects.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline across exchanges, custodians, funds, DAOs, and enterprises evaluating staking.
  • Accelerate revenue via direct deals and high-impact strategic partnerships.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Act as a trusted partner on staking strategy, risk considerations, and product adoption.
  • Nurture long-term relationships to drive satisfaction, expansion, and retention.
  • Market Strategy & Execution
  • Spot new market opportunities, craft scalable sales plays, and iterate the go-to-market.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering, channeling client feedback into the roadmap.
  • Leadership & Team Building
  • As the first dedicated sales hire, establish the foundation for future team scale.
  • Define KPIs, processes, and tooling to build a high-performing, repeatable sales engine. Requirements
    • Experience: At least 2 years in sales, business development, or partnerships within fintech, crypto, or financial services.
    • Track Record: Demonstrated success closing high-value institutional deals.
    • Crypto Knowledge: Strong grasp of proof-of-stake networks, staking mechanics, and institutional custody.
    • Skills: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building.
    • Mindset: Self-starter with an entrepreneurial drive; thrives in a fast-paced startup setting.

    Nice to Have

    • Experience selling staking or custody solutions.
    • Established network among institutional crypto players (custodians, funds, exchanges, wallets).
    • Capability to lead and eventually manage a global sales organization.
