Rust Systems Engineer | EVM | Remote 

Plexus is collaborating with a company that empowers developers to launch their own custom blockchains—known as appchains—on Ethereum. These chains are ultra-fast, with sub-second transaction confirmations, and seamlessly integrate with Ethereum’s ecosystem. In essence, they give developers the tools to build a high-performance, tailor-made version of Ethereum optimized for their specific application.

They’re actively looking for a talented Rust Systems Engineer to join their expanding team and help shape the future of blockchain infrastructure.

Responsibilities: 

• Get hands-on with building the Based Stack in Go and Rust?
• Play a key role in shaping the product with a seat at the table for design discussions
• Step into the spotlight—speak at events, join podcasts, and rep the team on global stages

Requirements: 

• Fluent in Rust with a passion for low-level, high-performance code
• Well-versed in EVM architecture and smart contract mechanic
• Hands-on experience taking complex projects from zero to launch

Nice to have: 

• Deep understanding of rollups
• Strong knowledge of shared sequencing
• Familiarity with ZK and DA
