Senior Rust Backend Engineer (Europe / APAC based)

We’re working with a client building a high-performance, on-chain trading platform with a fully decentralized order book. You’ll design and optimize Rust backend APIs (HTTP & WebSocket) for low-latency trading, real-time data, and reliable state management.

What You’ll Do

• Build high-performance trading APIs and data pipelines in Rust.

• Work with Tokio for async concurrency and real-time event handling.

• Model trading entities and maintain consistent live state.

• Implement observability with metrics, tracing, and structured logs.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of Rust experience (Tokio, async, concurrency).

• Strong grasp of trading systems and real-time data flows.

• Experience with HTTP/WebSocket frameworks and observability tools.
