Risk Manager

Plexus have partnered with a boutique on-chain advisory firm hiring a DeFi Risk Manager to support research and reporting for some of the biggest names in Web3. The team works with a small number of clients at a time, focusing on mission-critical areas such as asset depeggings, liquidation cascades, and flash crashes.

The Role

You’ll help produce in-depth risk reports on DeFi protocols, focusing on tokenomics, system design, and risk parameters. This is a research-heavy role, ideal for someone who can break down complex DeFi mechanics into clear, structured insights.

What You’ll Work On

• Writing risk reports on DeFi protocol design and tokenomics
• Assessing mechanisms related to liquidation, volatility exposure, and bad debt
• Contributing to internal and public-facing research on DeFi risk and system structure

What We’re Looking For

• Solid understanding of DeFi protocols and tokenomics
• Experience analyzing or researching DeFi risk factors
• Strong communication skills, this is a client-facing role
• Strong written communication skills, especially for technical topics
• Comfortable working independently within a small, focused team
