QA Engineer

Plexus are working with a decentralized financial platform building on-chain trading infrastructure that allows users to trade global markets directly from their wallets, no brokers, just smart contracts and leveraged positions on price movements.

They’re looking for a QA Engineer (4–5 years) with proven DeFi experience to take full ownership of quality across web and mobile. You’ll be responsible for testing complex trading flows end-to-end, including wallets, transactions, and on-chain/off-chain interactions. 

Requirements: 

• Proven experience across testing web and mobile applications.
• Familiar with DeFi primitives like wallets, approvals, order types, on-chain vs off-chain flows, network switching, transaction states.
• You should be able to look at a trading interface and intuitively know what edge cases to hunt for.
• Experience with automation testing on web apps (Cypress, Playwright, or similar), writing and maintaining test suites, not just manual passes.
• Comfortable reading logs, using browser dev tools, and filing bugs that engineers can actually act on.

Nice to have: 

• Experience testing across multiple chains or L2s.
• Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks (Detox, Appium).
• Basic scripting ability (JS/TS or Python).
• Experience with CI-integrated test pipelines.
