Principal Venture Role @ Crypto VC (Remote)

Plexus has teamed up with a VC who are focused on crypto and open finance, investing in early-stage companies and liquid markets to support open and permissionless technologies. They have successfully built out their crypto prop trading team and are taking the space by storm on both Cefi & Defi, but are now in need of a Principal Venture person to join this growing team.

You’ll help manage the venture funnel, coordinate with portfolio companies, and support research, sourcing, and founder intros. Ideal for someone deeply into crypto—active on Twitter, Substack, or writing—and looking to break into venture. Great fit for a recent grad or early-career talent with a passion for Web3.

Responsibilities:

• Crypto-native with strong technical depth
• Experience in Venture, Developer Relations, BD, IR, or a highly technical and similar role
• 3–7 years in venture capital, early-stage investing, or founder/operator experience in web3, DeFi, or infrastructure
• Strong network in Web3
• Analytical and people-savvy.
• Comfortable reviewing high volumes of opportunities
• Not a traditional finance background

There is a preference for San Fran or NY based people, but the role is remote first!

Salary: Base + Carry
