Operations Lead

Plexus is partnering with an early-stage fintech start-up building a decentralized platform that delivers instant, undercollateralized credit to underserved users globally. The team is looking for a Quantitative Researcher to design, test, and scale credit and risk models that drive financial inclusion across emerging markets.  

Key Responsibilities

• Design and scale internal operations and processes to support cross-functional teams across the organization.

• Oversee essential business operations including payroll, benefits, vendor management, and compliance.

• Collaborate with the finance team to prepare, maintain, and analyze financial reports and key metrics.

• Manage relationships with external partners and maintain up-to-date data room and documentation for stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of operations or strategy leadership experience within high-growth fintech, crypto, payments, or marketplace companies.

• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with clear communication and structured execution.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, capable of making data-driven decisions and interpreting financial or operational dashboards.

• Experience in early-stage scaling environments (seed to Series C), helping teams grow from ~10 to 100+ employees.

• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• On-site San Francisco.
