Operations Lead | Remote | Europe & APAC | Permanent
Role Overview
We’re hiring an Operations Lead to power the backbone of the Protocol. You’ll partner closely with leadership and own the execution layer of the business—standing up processes, removing friction, and keeping daily operations tight, compliant, and scalable.
This is an execution-heavy, detail-driven role: you’ll coordinate across functions, close loops, and bring structure to ambiguity.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Operations
-
Architect, document, and iterate on core workflows; drive operating cadence and SLAs.
-
Manage vendor onboarding, contracts, and payouts; handle procurement and renewals.
-
Run cross-functional programs and keep deliverables on schedule.
Compliance & Risk
-
Orchestrate operational compliance (KYC/KYB, regulatory filings, auditor requests).
-
Serve as point of contact with external counsel, vendors, and advisors.
-
Establish controls and safeguards for treasury and asset management.
Finance Ops
-
Own invoices, expenses, and bookkeeping coordination; support monthly close.
-
Support treasury operations (wallets/custody/multisig), staking asset tracking, and reconciliations.
-
Produce monthly operational dashboards for leadership.
People Ops
-
Oversee recruiting pipelines, offers, onboarding, and HR systems.
-
Coordinate payroll and benefits; maintain accurate employee records.
-
Support culture initiatives, offsites, and company rituals.
Execution & Problem Solving
-
Tackle ad-hoc projects to unblock teams.
-
Spot inefficiencies and ship fixes (automation, templates, integrations).
-
Ensure decisions and documentation are captured and shared.
Requirements
-
Experience: 4–7+ years in operations, business management, or chief-of-staff roles at a startup/scale-up.
-
Execution first: Strong ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to juggle competing priorities.
-
Tooling: Proficient with Notion, Slack, Google Workspace; comfortable with Airtable/Sheets.
-
Mindset: Builder who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous settings; clear communicator with high reliability.
Nice to Have
-
Early-stage crypto/fintech background.
-
Familiarity with finance ops, treasury, custody, or exchange workflows.
-
Experience setting up compliance or internal-control frameworks.
-
Basic crypto fluency (wallet/self-custody fundamentals).
-
Light automation or data skills.
