Network Engineer

Plexus has teamed up with a elite trading and investment team who are looking for a Network Engineer to join this leading team based in US or Canada. You will own and work directly on the network layer that their trading systems depend on. Full ownership of colocation connectivity, exchange feeds, routing, precision time sync, and firewall policy. You’re designing connectivity from scratch, not maintaining what someone else built. What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on with L2/L3 networking in latency-sensitive, colocation, or trading environments
• Strong BGP/OSPF experience; config, troubleshooting, and design in production
• Production PTP or comparable precision time sync experience
• Python for network automation and tooling
• Hands-on firewall management
• Comfort being the only network person: real ownership, nowhere to hide
• Nice to have: CCNP/CCIE, IaC for network configuration (Ansible, Terraform), hybrid-cloud connectivity (AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute), DPDK/kernel-bypass exposure
