Mid/Senior Python Software Engineer

Mid/Senior Python Software Engineer Budget: Up to €90k + Benefits Location: Europe (remote or hybrid) 

Plexus has another exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer. The client specializes in enhancing the safety and transparency of blockchain and next-generation payment systems, providing data-driven insights and on-chain security expertise to leading innovators in the digital asset space.

Role Overview They’re seeking a Mid/Senior Python Engineer to build scalable backend systems, support blockchain analytics, and develop tools that help detect crypto fraud. You’ll work closely with data scientists, DevOps, and a distributed engineering team.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in software development.
• Strong Python skills, including async, typing, and memory management.
• Solid grounding in algorithms, data structures, and backend design.
• Experience with FastAPI/Flask/Django.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps workflows.
• SQL/NoSQL experience (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Fluent English; degree in Computer Science or similar.

  Nice to Have

• Blockchain/Web3 or on-chain analytics experience.
• Graph algorithm knowledge.
• Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with Spark, Redis, or Kafka.
• Experience with ETL or ML deployment.
