IP Licensing Manager – $70k – $120k – Remote 

Plexus has partnered with a fast-growing web3 entertainment-tech company at the intersection of content and fandom.The company focuses on bringing creative IP to international markets in new, tech-enabled ways and is building a platform that empowers creators while deepening fan engagement.

They are looking for an experienced IP Licensing Manager to help scale its licensing operations globally. They’re seeking a detail-oriented and relationship-driven individual to lead licensing efforts, manage partnerships, and coordinate internal and external stakeholders to support seamless content distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow relationships with content rights holders, licensors, and strategic partners.
• Lead negotiations for licensing agreements, ensuring alignment on terms and timelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain brand integrity and meet launch deadlines.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support business development.
• Prepare presentations and reports to communicate updates and support internal decision-making.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in content licensing, ideally within the media, publishing, or entertainment sectors.
• Deep understanding of IP licensing workflows and creative approval processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Japanese; English proficiency preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
• Interest in technology, digital platforms, or emerging trends such as Web3 is a plus.
