Plexus has partnered with one of the hottest projects in crypto right now, they are a major Layer 1 and raised $100-200m in funding. They are looking for a Head of Institutional Partnerships to lead their US and global expansion.
Responsibilities

Lead and execute the company’s global business development strategy for institutional and enterprise adoption.

Utilize your network to identify and engage partners across financial services, fintech, and large-scale enterprises exploring blockchain or distributed systems integration.

Manage the entire partnership lifecycle — from outreach and negotiation to launch and ongoing relationship management.

Work closely with engineering, marketing, and product teams to align institutional needs with product roadmap and market positioning.

Represent the organization at industry and fintech events, including speaking engagements, to strengthen visibility among enterprise and institutional audiences.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to uncover new partnership and growth opportunities.
- Must be based in NYC or willing to re-locate (this will not be covered by company).
Requirements:

7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, or institutional business development, ideally in fintech, crypto, or adjacent technology sectors.

Established relationships across financial institutions, exchanges, or digital asset ecosystems.

Proven ability to manage complex deal cycles and close high-value partnerships.

Comfortable communicating technical concepts (e.g., distributed systems, blockchain architecture) to both technical and non-technical audiences.

A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and enjoys building business functions from the ground up.
