Head of Engineering | Remote | Global | Permanent

Plexus have partnered with an a16z backed start up building app-specific rollups compatible with EVM Mainnet & app chains. They are looking for a Head of Engineering to build the core product and take concepts from 0-1.

Responsibilities: – Lead the engineering of projects and take design concepts to production. – Implement the core infrastructure in Rust language & Solidity Smart contracts. – Contribute to other areas of the business alongside engineering like conferences or events

Requirement: – Enthusiasm for the modular and rollup space within crypto – Proficiency with Solidity & Rust development whilst also having experience with Virtual Machines. – Previously shipped

Nice to have: – A deep understanding of fraud proofs and other rollup details – Familiarity with the AggLayer, Espresso, and other modular products. – Understand the terms “Data Availability” and “Zero Knowledge”
