The Role Our client is looking for a Head of Business Development to lead a team and be responsible for driving growth and developing meaningful business partnerships. You will develop a clear strategy and manage their expanding ecosystem. Key responsibilities

  • Lead Growth Strategy: Define and drive a dynamic strategy for BD-owned initiatives, partnerships, and capital growth.
  • Execute & Deliver: Work hands-on with the BD team to ensure steady progress and real results.
  • Oversee Operations: Manage daily BD activities, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Cross-Team Alignment: Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to launch and develop Flare’s protocols.
  • Expand Ecosystem: Partner with product, dev relations, and investment teams on grants, hackathons, and innovation efforts.
  • Be the Face: Represent at industry events, conferences, and meetups.
  • Build Key Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships to fuel long-term growth.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Crypto Enthusiast: Deep passion for blockchain and Web3.
  • Proven Experience: 5+ years in BD, ideally in Web3, Web2, or finance.
  • Travel-Ready: Open to frequent business trips.
