About the Role:

As a Junior Founding Backend Engineer, you’ll help build the backend systems, APIs, and developer tools that power conversational finance. You’ll work directly with the founding team, shipping production features, shaping product decisions, and learning how to build at startup speed. This is a rare opportunity to join at the earliest stage and have outsized impact on both technology and product direction.

What You’ll Do

• Build backend services, APIs, and internal tools that bring conversational finance to life
• Work with early users and help ship integrations that go live in production
• Contribute to developer dashboards, SDKs, and documentation
• Prototype new natural-language money features — from text-driven transfers to voice-controlled financial actions

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience building and shipping production code (or exceptional personal projects that prove you can build)
• Experience with LLMs or AI-assisted coding (even if just experimenting)
• Comfortable working across the stack: Typescript, Node.js, APIs, databases, infra basic

Bonus Points

• You’ve built and launched your own project, tool, or startup
• Experience integrating APIs like Stripe, OpenAI, or blockchain protocols
• Hackathon wins, viral projects, or strong personal GitHub activity
• Crypto or blockchain familiarity
• Strong opinions about AI tools and developer workflows
• You’re very online — follow AI/crypto closely and know where things are going
