Founding Engineer- Solidity

Position: Smart Contract Engineer (Solidity) Location: New York (Hybrid) Salary: $150,000 – $250,000 The Role Plexus has partnered with one of the most exciting projects in the Web3 space. Our client are developing a network of verifiable agents that execute tasks via intent marketplaces. Key Responsibilities

• Build and interact with web2/web3 APIs, backend databases, and servers for request coordination.
• Own contract development, oversee auditing, and build on best-in-class public contracts/protocols.
• Innovate on intent standards, potentially collaborating with other protocols or leveraging existing ones.
• Develop the on-chain and decentralization roadmap: optimistic verification, ZK-coprocessors for data feeds, validator design.
• Ship fast, usable code with a focus on iterative growth rather than in-depth sprints.

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of engineering experience in web3 organizations or exceptional internships/projects
•  Strong understanding of tech concepts (e.g., intents, on-chain data work)
• Familiar with Solidity, Rust, Go, and other web3 frameworks
• Comfortable with traditional backend languages and tools (Python, Django, Postgres, AWS, Celery, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
