Founding Engineer (Agentic Finance)

Founding Backend Engineer 

We are looking for a Founding Backend Engineer to lead the design and development of the backend infrastructure powering a next-generation agentic finance protocol built to give retail traders the access, tools, and capital efficiency of institutions.

In this role you will lead all backend development, working closely with the CTO to build the infrastructure layer that makes this new trading paradigm real.

Responsibilities

• Drive the architecture, technical design, and implementation of backend infrastructure from the ground up
• Build and maintain low-latency indexing infrastructure capable of handling high-frequency block data and full order book data at scale
• Build and maintain offline and online data analytic pipelines powering trading and risk engines
• Contribute to trading engine infrastructure, working closely with quantitative engineers to bring trading strategies into production
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and maintaining high engineering standards across the team

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining backend systems that interact with blockchain infrastructure in production environments
• 5+ years of experience with modern backend languages such as Go, Rust, Python, or equivalent in distributed architectures
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced startup or early-stage environment
• An entrepreneurial mindset
