Founding Backend Engineer

We are working with a company building the first scalable, credit-based money market on Ethereum. They offer real-time USDC credit lines backed by on-chain credit scores holdings, and bank data.

They’ve raised $5M and are now hiring a backend engineer to own core infrastructure, from system design to chain integrations.

What You’ll Do

• Design scalable systems (Convex/Postgres) for balances, credit limits, and drawdowns

• Build and maintain GraphQL/REST APIs, webhooks, and external integrations.

• Connect backend services to EVM chains and smart contracts for managing credit lines and repayments

• Ensure uptime, observability, and data security across the stack

• Work closely with founders to ship fast, test in prod, and iterate quickly

What They’re Looking For

• 3+ years backend experience, strong in TypeScript/Node.js

• Familiar with Convex, PostgreSQL, AWS, REST/GraphQL, and webhooks

• Strong grasp of security, data privacy, and system architecture

• Ability to read docs, ship fast, and own production code

• Bonus: Familiarity with smart contracts or EVM chains
