Distributed Systems Engineer

Plexus have partnered with a cutting edge company who operate in the blockchain x AI intersection. They are looking to for a few key hires before the end of the year after a very successful funding round lead by key crypto native funds.

Ideal candidate would based in Austin, Texas to work onsite but open to remote in US time zones. Paying up to $250k base.

We are looking for a distributed systems engineer to decentralise their AI inference systems and other critical parts of the stack and other key responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Engineering background with strong experience in distributed systems
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and consensus algorithms
• Proficiency in languages such as Rust and Go.

Responsibilities: 

• Design and implement decentralized versions of AI inference pipelines
• Work with blockchain engineers to integrate inference systems into the blockchain
• Develop distributed storage solutions 
• Implement and maintain protocols
