Distinguished Blockchain Engineer (Rust/Go/Node) – Remote (Asia Timezone Preferred)  

A top-tier Layer 1 blockchain project focused on decentralized payments and scalable financial infrastructure is looking for a Distinguished Engineer to join their mission-driven team. With strong funding and a globally distributed technical team, they are building a performant, secure, and linearly scalable protocol that aims to bring payments on-chain at scale.  

What You Will Do:

• Take end-to-end ownership across the full blockchain stack — from consensus to dev tooling and infra performance.

• Design and implement key architectural components, driving improvements in scalability, reliability, and throughput.

• Write production-level code (primarily in Rust, Go, or Node.js) and review critical PRs to ensure high engineering standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex systems issues with speed and precision.

• Contribute to and refine engineering processes – driving clarity, quality, and accountability in fast-paced cycles.

• Champion and uphold a high-performance engineering culture grounded in velocity, resilience, and technical excellence.  

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in backend or systems-level engineering.

• Deep expertise in distributed systems and low-level systems architecture.

• Hands-on with at least two core languages: Rust, Go, Node.js, or TypeScript.

• Proven success scaling large, performance-sensitive infrastructure.

• Passion for building from first principles and solving complex architectural challenges.

• Located in within an Asia time zone.
