Developer Relations Engineer | Remote | Permanent
Plexus have partnered with a permissionless Oracle provider who are hiring a Developer Relations Lead. This is to assist the engineering, product & GTM team with partner integrations, community & builders support and development of the product.
Responsibilities
- User Support and Onboarding: Act as the primary contact for Switchboard users, delivering fast technical support, resolving integration issues, and debugging live services. Guide users from onboarding through advanced use cases.
- Developer Enablement: Help developers get the most from Switchboard’s data feeds with tailored guidance, code snippets, and implementation best practices.
- Documentation and Improvements: Maintain and improve Switchboard’s developer docs, tutorials, and guides. Turn user feedback into product insights, propose engineering priorities, contribute to open source, and advocate for ecosystem-wide solutions.
- Community Engagement: Engage with developers on Discord, GitHub, and at events. Build strong relationships to support Switchboard users and node operators.
- Technical Contributions: Work with engineering to diagnose and fix production issues. Identify and contribute to open source projects that strengthen the Switchboard ecosystem and wider DeFi builder community.
- Protocol Representation: Represent Switchboard at developer meetups, online events, and forums.
About you
- A Crypto Passion: 3+ years in software engineering, including 1–2 years in web3/blockchain. Strong understanding of decentralized systems, oracles, and crypto primitives.
- Solana Development Experience: Hands-on experience building and deploying on Solana. You’ve shipped at least one Solana project (e.g., smart contracts, dApp) using Rust and Anchor.
- EVM Experience: Practical experience with EVM ecosystems—building or integrating Solidity smart contracts and working with EVM-compatible chains (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain).
- Technical Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with experience producing developer content (e.g., docs, tutorials, or talks)
- Network design.
