Deputy CTO

Deputy CTO / Engineering Manager – Market Making –  EU/UK (Remote)

Plexus are working with a leading crypto market maker + infra services provider, with desks across Asset Management, Wealth Management, Capital Markets and Algo Trading.

They are currently looking for a Deputy CTO to step in and take over the management of their engineering function. Details as follows:

Responsibilities

• People management: full ownership for coordination of engineering, tech and research teams across a 200+ strong org
• Own performance and achievement incentives, OKR tracking, unification of engineering standards
• Manage global engineering budgets, team expansion plans, tech strategy and further inhouse tech operations

Requirements

• Must come from a Trading and / or Crypto Infra background, ideally in a tech senior leadership function
• Direct experience managing technical teams of 50+ people
• Prior experience in a senior or deputy leadership function within a growing org
