Crypto Developer – Up to $130k Base + Equity – Based in Krakow, Poland 

Plexus has partnered with an innovative blockchain infrastructure team building the next generation of decentralized systems to democratise block space and combat centralization.

They are looking for a Crypto Developer to join their team and help with the core trading logic and infrastructure. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design and implement real-time trading strategies (arbitrage detection, scoring, execution) in a Rust-based actor system processing each new block.

• Integrate with aggregator APIs and self-hosted routers for quote collection, route comparison, and optimal liquidity selection.

• Build and submit MEV bundles to block builders, optimizing gas usage, inclusion probability, and profitability; interact with multisig wallets and custom smart contracts.

• Develop automated risk controls (balance monitoring, anomaly detection, auto-scaling down via Kubernetes API).

Qualification: 

• Strong Rust expertise (async/concurrent systems with tokio, trait-based design, robust error handling, performance optimization).

• Deep understanding of Ethereum (transactions, gas, ERC-20s, DEX mechanics, MEV supply chain).

• Experience building and operating systems handling real money or critical infrastructure (risk mitigation, monitoring, rollback planning).

• Proficient with PostgreSQL (schema design, high-throughput queries, migrations).  

Preferred Qualification: 

• MEV experience (Flashbots, builders, bundle submission, searcher strategies).

• Experience with Rust Ethereum libraries (alloy, ethers-rs) and/or EVM simulation tools (revm, Foundry/Anvil).

• Production experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS (deployments, secrets, VPC, Terraform).

• Smart contract development (Solidity/Foundry), especially Gnosis Safe modules or DeFi integrations.
