Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Digital Assets Dubai, UAE (On-site) AED 65,000-75,000+ Base Per Month + Equity (Negotiable for Exceptional Candidates)
Plexus are partnering with a high-growth digital assets firm expanding in the UAE. This is a newly created role to build and lead the risk function from the ground up, with a strong focus on regulatory alignment and scalable infrastructure.
The Role • Build and own the risk function end-to-end • Implement risk frameworks, policies, and governance structures • Lead enterprise, operational, and regulatory risk (VARA alignment) • Act as independent second line of defence • Manage ongoing regulator engagement and reporting
Experience • 10-15+ years in risk (or strong #2 stepping into a lead role) • Background in banking, exchanges, or regulated environments • Expertise in enterprise and operational risk • Experience working with regulators and risk frameworks • Digital assets exposure is highly preferred
