CMO/Head of Marketing – DeFi Protocol – North America/Europe (Remote)

Plexus is working with a growing DeFi Protocol building advanced on-chain systems to improve capital efficiency and stability across the EVM ecosystem. The team is focused on solving key challenges in decentralized finance through secure, scalable smart contract design.  They are looking for a CMO to join their growing marketing function. Details as follows:

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front; take ownership of the entire marketing + branding strategy, communications and growth for the business
• Support protocol adoption, ecosystem growth and user retention by putting together A+ marketing strategies to support campaign execution
• Manage and grow current marketing function, coordinating in-house marketing team members, externals, freelancers and agency support

Requirements

• Must have an expert-level understanding of DeFi markets across stablecoins, borrowing, lending, yield and aggregators
• Must be from a web3-native marketing background, either directly for a DeFi protocol, or within another relevant vertical (Not NFT/GameFi projects)
• Experienced leading and growing global, but agile marketing teams within a decentralized project
