BTC DeFi Product Lead

Plexus is working with an innovative Bitcoin DeFi startup that’s building a first-of-its-kind decentralized exchange natively on Bitcoin. Backed by strong fundamentals and a clear vision, they’re on a mission to unlock native trading, earning, and building—all within the Bitcoin ecosystem.

They’re hiring a Product Lead to take full ownership of their DEX product—driving strategy, UX, and execution from early-stage concept through to mainnet and beyond.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of product management experience (2+ in DeFi or crypto)

• Deep understanding of DEX models (AMM, CLOB), DeFi primitives, and liquidity design

• Proven track record shipping complex Web3 products

• Familiarity with Bitcoin Layer 2s or sidechains (Stacks, RSK, Lightning, BitVM, etc.)

• Strong communication and stakeholder alignment across time zones

Bonus if you have:

• Technical fluency (Solidity, Rust, Bitcoin Script)

• Experience with atomic swaps, zk-proofs, or decentralized identity

• Built and launched a product from 0 to 1

• Open-source or protocol governance involvement
