Backend/Infrastructure AI Engineer

Plexus is working with a highly technical, profitable crypto infrastructure company building next-generation systems for the blockchain ecosystem. They’re looking for a Backend / Infrastructure AI Engineer focused on building internal tooling, automation and AI-enabled workflows for engineers.

The role is roughly 50% software engineering/50% infrastructure, with a focus on connecting internal systems, automating workflows and making AI more accessible across the engineering organisation. They’re looking for someone creative, sharp and highly proactive, with a strong builder mentality.

What They’re Looking For

• Strong backend / software engineering fundamentals
• No specific AI stack required – can work across your desired stack 
• Experience with internal tooling, DevEx or automation
• Strong interest in AI and applying it to engineering workflows
• Creative, proactive and high-agency
• Crypto experience is not essential, preffered
