Backend Engineer

Plexus has teamed up with an exciting Cryptocurrency VC who have successfully built out and revolutionising their crypto prop trading team. Their Trading shop is taking the crypto space by storm on both Cefi & Defi, but are now in need of a Backend Engineer to build, scale, and maintain backend infrastructure for high-performance LLM applications.

You’ll work across the stack, primarily in Rust, with some frontend contributions in React. This role offers ownership over key systems, rapid iteration cycles, and collaboration with technical leadership to develop scalable, production-ready applications.

What we are looking for:

• Design, develop, and optimize a performant, low-latency LLM system.
• Build and maintain a microservices backend in Rust.
• 2-5 years in software engineering (Rust, C++, Go).
• Trading System experience is a huge bonus
• A strong interest in AI will take you very far!
• Someone comfortable being a part of an internal pod who are revolutionising crypto trading
• Strong extracurricular experience

Remote Role but need to be able to overlap with Pacific Time (US)

Salary: $150k + Bonus
