Backend Data Engineer

We are working with a pioneering Blockchain / AI start-up backed by the top 10 Silicon Valley VC’s. They are looking for an experienced Backend Data engineer to join the team!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop backend systems for decentralized AI Data Availability & Data Restaking protocol.
  • Implement data storage, retrieval, and processing using Web3/Blockchain.
  • Collaborate on optimizing data pipelines for scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Integrate backend with front-end interfaces.
  • Conduct performance analysis and ensure compliance with data standards.

    Requirements:

  • Strong experience in backend development, preferably data-intensive.
  • Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and distributed storage.
  • Familiarity with Web3/Blockchain is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior blockchain or decentralized protocol experience.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cryptography.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
